Well, we thought we’d be home by now. Unfortunately, our repair job will take us into Thursday. Tuesday night/Wednesday morning were a bit rough here on the wall. The wind changed direction, and we were rocking and rolling all night long. You’ll be happy to know we survived.
Today brought another day of work for Owen, and another day of work for our air conditioner repairman. I had an opportunity to take another walk. This time, I walked back down to Fiserv Forum to see how the clean up was going. On my way, I ran into this guy.

The Fiserv Forum was less busy than the night before, but there was a line for pro shop merchandise that was more than a block long. I was happy to see that workers were changing the sign. Congratulations, champs!

On my way back to the boat, I stopped at the Sail Loft for lunch and had some fish tacos. They were yummy.

We found out that our air conditioner needs a new part that the service place doesn’t have in stock, so we hope our repairs will be finished tomorrow. We’d love to head back to Port Washington.
In the meantime, we walked to the Mobay Cafe for dinner. Owen declared this little restaurant a winner with its Jamaican food and music and friendly service. I had the rum punch. It was rummy. We were running low on some things, so we stopped at a grocery store on the way back to the boat. We found the Cheesehead store. I don’t think I know any Wisconsinite who actually has or wears a cheesehead. This seems to be strictly a tourist phenomenon. But here it is. Wear at your own risk.
