We spent about a week enjoying Green Turtle Bay Resort. It’s a wonderful resort with wonderful people. But I also highly recommend that you check out Grand Rivers and the Land Between the Lakes. It’s a short walk to Grand Rivers. There is also a shuttle, you can rent a golf cart, or borrow the courtesy van. Seriously… no excuses.

I went for a great bike ride into the national park.

One evening, we went to Patti’s 1880s Settlement Restaurant for dinner and mini golf. The pork chop was fantastic, but be sure to save room for dessert!

We were fortunate to be in town to stumble upon a festival with a massive craft fair. Craft fairs aren’t really my thing, but funnel cake, ribeye sandwiches, and good music sure is.

We also put the dinghy down (we call it “Dot”) and toured around a little. Finally, on the last night, we walked over to the Thirsty Turtle for some food, fun, and watching the Aggie game on my phone because that’s how we roll.

All in all, it was a fun week at Green Turtle Bay!
